| Abstract | Provided is a method for producing stem cell-derived lacrimal gland tissue and is characterized by isolating cells that are positive to both SSEA4 and CD104 from a self-formed ectodermal autonomous multi-zone (SEAM) cell population derived from pluripotent stem cells, and three-dimensionally culturing the obtained cells in a culture medium containing EGF and a ROCK inhibitor, to obtain a cell population that expresses lacrimal gland-associated proteins. |
