Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for predicting the effectiveness of an oral medication in a subject against a disease caused by the accumulation of abnormal proteins.  The present invention also relates to a method for assessing behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD).

By using data based on differentiated cells (e.g., neurons) derived from subject-derived iPS cells and the subject's blood drug concentration (Cmax), it becomes possible to predict clinical trial results with high accuracy, and clinical trials can be conducted by focusing on subjects who are expected to respond well.
