| Abstract | Provided is a method for screening preventive or therapeutic anti-tauopathy agents, comprising steps of bringing a test substance into contact with neurons containing a mutant MAPT (microtubule-associated protein tau) and measuring for the neurons any one indicator selected from the group consisting of (a) quantity of tau oligomers in culture supernatant, (b) quantity of intracellular tau oligomers, (c) frequency of depolarization, (d) concentration of intracellular calcium ions, and (e) viable cell count. |
