Abstract | Provided is a method of promoting proliferation of PDX1 positive NKX6.1 positive pancreatic endoderm cells, comprising bringing said PDX1 positive NKX6.1 positive cells into contact with a FOXO1 inhibitor and/or a Wnt signal activator. The method enables an efficient production from pluripotent stem cells of pancreatic endocrine cells, such as insulin-secreting cells, which are derived from PDX1 positive NKX6.1 positive pancreatic endoderm cells. |
