Abstract

The present invention provides a plate-shaped cartilage formed by coalescing a plurality of pluripotent-stem-cell-derived cartilage particles and a production method thereof, wherein the method comprises steps of (1) producing pluripotent-stem-cell-derived cartilage particles, and (2) culturing the number of cartilage particles necessary for formation of the plate-shaped cartilage in a state in which adjacent cartilage particles can contact each other.
