Abstract

Present invention provides a maintenance and amplification method of PGC/PGCLC comprising a step of culturing PGC/PGCLC in the presence of a PDE 4 inhibitor and/or cyclosporin A, and preferably in the additional presence of forskolin. The invention further provides a method for inducing differentiation of the PGC/PGCLC thus maintained and amplified into oocytes in the presence of BMP and retinoic acid.
