| Abstract | Provided is a method for screening a molecular-targeting cancer therapeutic agent without identifying the true target protein, comprising steps of (i) measuring the expression amount of a transposable element in a cancer cell of interest in the presence or absence of a test substance, and (ii) when the expression amount of the transposable element in the presence of the test substance is increased in comparison with that in its absence, selecting the test substance as a cancer therapeutic agent. |
