Abstract

Present invention provides a method for producing a pyramidal cell from a pluripotent stem cell (PSC), comprising a step of expressing exogenous Ngn2 and Fezl in the PSC. The obtained pyramidal cell may include a upper motor neuron, and this invention further provides a co-culture system consisting of the upper motor neuron produced by the method as a pre-synaptic cell and a lower motor neuron as a post-synaptic cell.
