Provided is a method for producing a hematopoietic cell from a pluripotent stem cell, comprising the steps of: (1) culturing naïve pluripotent stem cells to induce differentiation into yolk sac cells; (2) culturing primed pluripotent stem cells to induce differentiation into mesoderm cells; and (3) co-culturing the mesoderm cells obtained in step (2) and the yolk sac cells obtained in step (1), thereby inducing differentiation into hematopoietic cells. According to the invention, hematopoietic cells can be induced without using xenogeneic cells nor serum, enabling the provision of safe hematopoietic cells suitable for therapeutic applications. Further, hematopoietic cells derived from a single individual can be obtained through establishing both naive and primed iPS cells ed from a single donor.
